Who are we?

Simply put, Chai Bitte is a team of one. 

Hi there! I am so glad you stopped by today!

So who am I? I am a stay at home mom of two amazing little humans, that certainly keep me on my toes. I am a passionate football coach's wife, a part time muralist and a lover of chai! I am a crafter, gardner and an overly confident DIYer. I am a lover of color, the outdoors and a book worm at times. But, trust me when I say, I can binge a good show like it's a job. I love to bake, but enjoy sharing it with others even more. I am an introvert on most days, but still love getting to know people. My name is Lisa and I am excited to share my world with you.

Why chai? 

I fell in love with chai years ago. That warm spiced creamy tea with just a hint of sweetness, was a staple every fall and winter. Especially on those cold football days.
After relocating several times and not always having a local coffee shop, I began to test recipes. It wasn't long before I began to realize that I could make an instant powder, that would last an entire season, saved money and allowed me to enjoy a chai anywhere and at any time. 

But where did Chai Bitte come from?

Quite frankly, I was encouraged by friends. After years of sharing my chai, it quickly became evident that I may have made something worth sharing with everyone.

What's up with the name, Chai Bitte?

"Chai" is a bit of a given, but what's this "Bitte" business? Bitte, was a nod to my homage of Germany as it means "please". So essentially, Chai Bitte, means Tea Please. 

So, here we are, humbly growing thanks to so many amazing people who sip after sip continue to share their love of these blends.
